i liked the location because it was close to powell station. the room was clean and had an ott configuration with netflix. luggage storage was easy with a cabinet including password lock. i really appreciate the free coffee and tea at the lounge.
there was no ac in my room for five nights. maintenance never came to fix the ac and gave me only a fan. there was also human feces right in front of the building and it smelled bad.

this hotel was quite practical for my quick trip. the common areas offered a good space to relax. i also appreciated the free coffee and tea available each day. the self-service laundry with provided pods really make the difference.
the immediate area outside felt a little unsafe during the evening. i noticed the presence of homeless people around the block.

The room i booked lacked basic amenities, such as a closet or dresser. this made unpacking quite difficult. the unpleasant smell lingered throughout my stay. It was a musty smell inside with a strong odor of urine outside. the combination of these factors.

The location is near the Powell Street BART station. I also found the proximity to China Town and Little Italy beneficial. The room was clean with comfortable beds. The kitchenette was useful. I especially liked the coffee machine.
My room had a strange smell, and I requested a change, but the staff did not follow up. Public parking was difficult to find in the area. I found homeless individuals everywhere.
